Triumph file

Launched in 1994, the original Speed Triple took the 885 cc carburetted triple and steel spine frame from Triumph's Trident and Daytona and dressed them as a stripped, cafe-racer-style streetfighter with dark silencers. It paired quality Japanese suspension and brakes with a smooth, torquey engine, and became one of Triumph's best sellers. It was tall and fairly heavy but practical for daily riding.
